SOKUDO KARATE GUISBOROUGH

Sokudo Karate Guisborough was founded in in 1980 by Shihan Enrico Capaldi (8th Dan Shukokai Karate) and holds classes at St Paulinus School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  

Shukokai is derived from one of the original styles of Karate, Shito Ryu, with roots that date back over three hundred years to Okinawa. Using Shito Ryu as a foundation for his style, Sensei Kimura spent the last forty years of his life developing a technique that was second to none, and he perfected the ability to attack with devastating power and speed.

Shukokai Karate has effective, practical, self defence techniques at it's core. So those looking for an "edge" in these troubled times will find that Shukokai Karate can fulfil your need to protect yourself.

We welcome new members, male and female, at any time (minimum age of 5). If you are a complete novice you will be made to feel most welcome. We were all beginners once!

If you have previous martial arts experience you are also welcome to train with us.
